About Me

Hey! I am Briana Land aka Bree. I have grown up in Temecula CA with my two sisters. Elementary school I attended Vintage Hills, where I hope to teach or even help at. It opened when Temecula was growing with young families. The town has grown so much and we have all grown up together, now all coming back from college. I went through the awkward middle years at Margarita Middle School. Moving onto high school years I attended Chaparral High School. Right after graduating in 2008 I moved to Camarillo, CA and went to California State Channel Islands. This is the newest Cal State and an amazing school. It is smaller and I learned so much there, not only about school but about life being on my own and gaining a family of friends. I graduated there in May of 2012! Majored in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Health. Currently I am shooting to finish my credentials (multiple subjects) here at CSUSM. School has always been challenging for me, but kept me interested in reaching my goals. I want to become a teacher to reach all different learning types, keeping children excited about school!

Technology is rapidly changing and exciting to me. I personally can become more knowledgeable with technology, but like some it doesn't scare me. I find it amazing how much has changed over the years. I feel I have been growing up in a boom of technology advancement, and even more with the younger generations. Youngsters are more tech savvy than ever! It is important to me to embrace all the new ways coming out, using for all that they are worth. It takes time for me but I have the patients to learn. I probably don't give myself enough credit, I just feel there is so much more for me to learn. My IPhone holds my life in it, and my laptop (PC) currently gave out on me...it is time for me to become a Mac member.

California State San Marcos School of Educations mission statement catches my eye. Towards the end sums it up for me, when they state that the practices are student centered education with diversity and communication collaboration. I feel it is important to always be reminder that this profession is all about the students and children preparing them for a  better society for all.

  1. Hi Bree! I agree, our generation has seen so much technology development and change. I can never believe how much more younger kids know about computers than I do. My iPhone is my lifeline too.
